Summary: In this lesson, we will work with our first example. As I mentioned earlier, we will be using WebStorm to write our code. But you can use any development environment you are comfortable with. I will make sure first that I have Node js installed (because I need the node package manager npm). Then, I will install ionic and cordova (you can install both with the same command). After that, I am ready to start a new Ionic application. For this scenario, I will using the blank template. We will load that in the browser and look briefly at the code.
