Summary: In this video, we see a different way of calling a method on a separate thread. This new approach has been added in .NET 4.0. It is done using Task.Factory.StartNew(). StartNew takes a method name as a parameter. This method will be run on a separate thread. Then we will see how to use the traditional linq and parallel linq. To do so, we create the same call one time using regular linq and another time using plinq. We use the StopWatch to see the time it takes to execute each call.
Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design.
