Summary: In this video, we keep on experimenting with Task.Factory.StartNew() by adding a method that tests the type of the item. We create an ArrayList that contains strings, dates and arrays. Using parallel linq, we look at the elements of type string and print them out on the screen. In the same token, we look at the Range method by selecting some items matching a criterion and one time as ordered and another time as unordered. Finally, since PLinq determines whether or not to use parallelism (depending on an algorithm), we create an example that forces the use of parallelism and specifies the degree of parallelism.
Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design.
