Summary: In this video, we continue our discussion of the Java certification exam. One important item that I have discussed before is that whenever we get a question that asks us about the result of running the code, the first thing we look at is: compilation failure or exception at runtime. Once we determine that those two options are not valid, we look at the program output. We do that to save us time when taking the exam. Part of the discussion here revolves around calling static and non-static methods, determining when a sort() method is valid when the items added to an ArrayList are Objects. This is a tricky question in deciding between compilation failure and runtime exceptions. We also look at correct/incorrect ways of using static imports.
