Summary: In this video we are going to see how the objects that are manipulated by Mondrian and JPivot are created. The video shows where the Foodmart.xml is located and how to open in to view the definitions of the objects. Since the FoodMart.xml is a XML text-based file, the video shows two open source tools that can be used to open it: notepad2 and iXEdit. Next, the video shows an overview of the entire file through a simple visualization of the main tags including the <Dimension>, <Cube>, <VirtualCube> and <Role> tags.
