Duration: 21 minutes
Summary: In this video, We will experiment with controls and their container controls. The idea that we need to illustrate is that how do we manage controls in Blend? For example, we will group buttons into a stack panel. Then, we will manage to ungroup them. We will copy/paste a stack panel and move the result to another row/column. We will also add a grid splitter to the page and see how that works. Blend helps us easily move a container control (like a stack panel) to another location, and also changing the layout manager by simply right-clicking. Finally, we will learn about resources and how we can put them in a resource dictionary. The idea here is to get more familiar with Blend and learn some time saving shortcuts.
Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design to illustrate the key points.
Technology Used: Silverlight 5, Expression Blend 4
Keyword: Silverlight 5, Expression Blend 4, Tool Panel, Resources, Button, StackPanel, GridSplitter.
