Title: Introduction to jQuery - Effects - Lesson III
Description: This is the last video of animation. Here we will show off the use of the animate function. We start by creating a new page with a div and a button. The div has an initial opacity of 0.5. When the user clicks on the button, the div will be animated. There are many parameters that will be animated. Clicking on the Animate button will call jQuery's animate() function. This function will change the values of: width, opacity, height, fontSize, marginLeft, and marginTop. We added a second parameter to the animate() function that affects the time it taked to animate the div (in this case we used 1.5 seconds (or 1500 milliseconds).
Methodology: Using jQuery library.
Examples constructed: We create an page that contains a div and a button. When the user clicks on the button the div will be animated.
