Kendo UI uses the power of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery to deliver a powerful set of widgets that makes the day to day development activity much simpler. The set of widgets provided by Kendo UI include web, mobile, and data visualization. In this introductory video, I will introduce you to Kendo UI and how it can be used in your daily development. I will start with the calendar as an example. I will be using Notepad++ as the tool for developing the examples. But you are free to use any of the development environments you are comfortable with (Notepad works fine and so does Visual Studio 2010/2012 express). In the next videos, we will delve more into the details of the widgets using examples that illustrate their use.
