Summary: In this lesson, we will continue our discussion on built-in services. We will talk about HTTP get. We will have a local file that contains course information (courses.json). This file is in the same directory as the html file. We will briefly discuss the need to a web server to serve this file (using IIS express and Visual Studio). Then, we will start building the html file. We will have a table that will display the content of the json file. This table is styled using Bootstrap. Using the $http.get, we will get the content when the user clicks on the “Load Courses” button. Before the data is loaded, we will display “No courses available” with the use of ng-hide. Once that data is there, we will have ng-repeat to “loop” over the data and display the content in the table rows.
