Summary: In this video, we wrap up the discussion of Strings, I/O, Formatting, and Parsing. We start with the Console class that has been added to Java 6. The main functions we need are readline() and readPassword(). The key point to remember is that readPassword() returns a character array instead of a string to limit the hacker from being able to get to the string object that contains the password. The rest of the discussion questions discuss formatting and parsing. We also tackled regex expressions. We saw how to use "\d+" when searching a string or characters and numbers.
