Summary: In this video, we start discussing XSLT. XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) is a declarative, XML-based language used for the transformation of XML documents into other XML documents, and in our case into HTML documents that we will display in the browser. We will start with an example that taked the list of books in Books.xml and display them in an HTML table. We create the xslt file by adding a new item to the project and selecting xslt file. Then, we create the HTML tags that we need within the file. In order to add all the books to the table, we use <xsl:for-each> and <xsl:value-of> within the <xsl:template>. We view the XML file in the browser, which displays the file after it has been transformed to HTML.
