Title: Runnable interface - Exam questions tests - Sun Certified Java Programmer 310-065 - Lesson 49
Duration: 16 minutes
Summary: In this video, we continue our exam questions. In this set of questions, we look at read() and readLine() methods, switch statement, the synchronized keyword, and the Runnable interface. As I mentioned before, some of the exam questions tests your use of some classes by asking you which class has a specific method, or a specific parameter to the constructor. For example read() and readLine() methods as they apply to BufferedReader and FileReader classes. Next, we look at the synchronized keyword and the switch statement with the cases and default in the wrong order. Only one case contained the break statement to add to the confusion. Finally, we look at implementing the Runnable interface using an anonymous inner class.
Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design to prepare for the Java programmer certification exam CX-310-065.
Technology Used: Java – Core Concepts.
Keywords: class, object, Runnable, BufferedReader, FileReader, read(), readLine(), switch, default, synchronized, anonymous inner class.
