Title: Method calls: Exam questions tests - Sun Certified Java Programmer 310-065 - Lesson 54
Duration: 16 minutes
Summary: In this video, we continue our java certification exam sample. We tackle more questions about inheritance and method calls. We also talk about LinkedLists and the correct declaration for the type of classes that can be added to the list. Understanding packages and imports is critical to passing this 310-065 exam. So we look at a question that creates a package in one file, and import it in the other. But the trick is that the access modifiers for the members are restrictive and this causes a compilation error. These questions are tricky since they test simple concepts that are shadowed by more difficult concepts. Finally, we discuss some facts about JAR files, and how classes in jre/lib/ext can be used in javac regardless of classpath.
Methodology of the development of example: Good coding standard and simplified design to prepare for the Java programmer certification exam CX-310-065.
